How can we find the best practices of Europe’s regions in relation to water heritage issues?
Natural heritage, protection and prevention of floods and droughts, preservation of biodiversity, communities of renewable energies and citizens with micro-hydroelectricity on old mills… There is no shortage of subjects!
AQUA ! has met many public and semi-public stakeholders from local and regional authorities across Europe, including Spain, Portugal, Poland, Italy and Hungary, as well as candidate countries such as Ukraine and Albania.
Then AQUA ! organised a specific workshop for the World Water Day in Brussels, with the support of the Mission Hauts-de-France to the EU, followed by a visit to the European Parliament and then to the Committee of the Regions to listen to the debates on the importance of building a European Blue Deal.
