On 8 and 9 October, AQUA ! attended the kick-off event of the European Citizen-Led Renovation programme (Phase 2) in Lisbon to support 3 energy community projects based around the reactivation of water mills: 2 projects in the Centre-Val de Loire region (le Moulin Bleu, in Saint-Jean-Froidmentel and Le Grand Moulin, in Sainte-Sévère-sur-Indre) and one project in Burgundy Franche-Comté Region (La Pointerie in Chamesson-sur-Seine).
This event provided an opportunity for a wide-ranging discussion and debate, with people in the field, committed citizens who want to take ownership and control of their energy transition in their daily lives: energy renovation, heating networks, the fight against fuel poverty, the development of renewable energies, etc.
