Over the past ten years, civil society has become more actively involved in projects related to water and aquatic environment management, and it is not uncommon for tensions to arise between local residents and GEMAP members over watercourse restoration work. In order to defuse such situations, it is essential to conduct constructive discussions in advance during which each party can express their arguments in order to ideally arrive at a project that is acceptable and accepted by all stakeholders.
What methods should be used to achieve such a result? What pitfalls should be identified and avoided? This time of open, unrecorded, microphone and camera exchanges will be an opportunity to reflect on your own successes and/or failures, based on several feedback experiences.
